Inanay Dance

I found many different interpretation of the beautiful Aboriginal song Inanay, and I chose one of them which is close to the interest of my children which can be seen in my Inanay Dance Learning Plan down below.

Materials/Tools

  • Fairy felt flowers

  • Small felt mat

  • Fake candle

Children would dance in a circle around the candle and felt flowers as can be seen in the picture. It will give a warmth and spirit to our dance as well as keep the children moving in a circle (management strategy).

I have built my knowledge about this song and dance through the above resources. Since it is a popular song, lots of different resources could be found on the internet which I found these resources more aligned with my learning intentions.
